At its 7th anniversary, MU JIAO XI HOTEL reaffirmed its commitment to the "MU LIFE" brand philosophy, which places nature at the heart of hospitality, by engaging deeply with the Longmen Community in Gongliao, Northeast Coast (also known as Jiou-She, or "Old Settlement").
Retracing the ancestral landing paths, hotel employees immersed themselves in the region’s history, listening to local youth who returned to their hometown as they shared field research on community development. Under the guidance of community elders, they also participated in the traditional making of "Qian Gu" rice wraps, an age-old coastal fishing tradition.
As part of its environmental commitment, MU JIAO XI HOTEL collaborated with the community to protect the rare coastal plant “Hai Mi” by removing invasive species in an eco-friendly manner, ensuring the preservation of the local ecosystem. Together, they successfully removed over 21 kilograms of invasive evening primrose, repurposing it as organic mulch beneath screw pine trees, contributing to local biodiversity restoration.
Dedicated to regional revitalization and sustainable tourism, MU JIAO XI HOTEL invites nature enthusiasts and corporate teams to participate in customized ESG experiences, fostering environmental stewardship while fulfilling corporate social responsibility.
